Camp Information

What is Bomber Sports Camp?

Well, it’s exactly what it sounds like. It’s an all-day (9:00am – 2:30pm) camp at John Burroughs School filled with sports, sports, fun, and more sports for one week in the summer.

What is a typical day at Bomber Sports Camp for Girls?

Each day begins with all campers and counselors participating in team building games before heading out to play a variety of sports – field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, basketball, tennis, swimming (every day), volleyball, and more.  A coach at each sport provides instruction, but the main goal is just to play!  Games will be “small-sided” with teams generally made up of 10-12 players to ensure plenty of action for each camper.  The camp day ends with announcements, popsicles, clean up, and carpool.

What is a typical day at Bomber Sports Camp for Boys?

The boys follow a similar schedule as the girls, but the sports differ in terms of variety. Games and instruction in flag football, soccer, floor hockey, baseball, kickball, and basketball dominate the boys side of camp. Each day begins with sports trivia before moving into small-sided games where campers get plenty of action. The camp day ends with popsicles, clean up, and carpool.
